RESOLUTION

Dated September 11, 2008 Lviv No. 2065

On Approval of Tourist Transport
Parking Areas in Lviv

With the aim of defining and regulating the tourist transport parking areas in Lviv, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Local Self-Government in Ukraine”, the Resolution of the City Council No. 157 dated November 28, 2002 “On Approval of the Regulations on Organization and Functioning of Motor Vehicle Parking Areas in Lviv” (as amended), and the Resolution of the City Council No. 1420 dated December 27, 2007 “On the Programme of Social, Economic and Cultural Development of Lviv for 2008”, the City Council has resolved that:

1. The tourist transport parking areas in Lviv shall be approved in accordance with the Appendix.

2. The Department of Housing and Infrastructure shall:

2.1. Draw up a location map of signs within the street network of Lviv providing information and directions on reaching the tourist transport parking areas.

2.2. Determine the parking operators of the tourist transport parking areas.

2.3. Install road signs in the tourist transport parking areas.

3. Halytsky, Frankivsky, and Zaliznychny District Administrations shall provide road marking of the tourist transport parking areas.

4. The Office for Culture and Tourism of the Department of Department of Humanitarian Policy shall publish information booklets containing a map of the tourist transport parking areas with the aim of informing Ukrainian and foreign tourists and tourist organizations.

5. The Permanent Commission for Utilities, Transport and Communication shall be charged with the responsibility to supervise the performance of this Resolution.

1 Troleybusna St. (Trolleybus Depot 3);
Pasichna St. (near Pahorb Slavy – the Hill of Glory);
M. Kryvonosa St. (area in front of the entrance to Vysoky Zamok Park);
30-32 Vynnychenka St.

2. Areas of tourist transport parking during excursions near tourist places of interest:

The Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life (Chernecha Hora St., area in front of the entrance to the Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life);
Lychakiv Cemetery (33 I. Mechnikova St., area opposite the main entrance to Lychakiv Cemetery, intersection of Pekarska and Mechnikova St.);
St. George Archcathedral (Sv. Yura Square);
Stryisky Park and Lviv Bohdan Khmelnytsky Central Culture and Recreation Park (near Monument Slavy – the Monument of Glory).
